Meet the Owner – Robert Stuart

When Rob began working in the HVAC industry, he found something that he really enjoyed doing. He started working in new construction, which taught him the value of a quality installation.

He advanced quickly in that first company, becoming the highest paid new construction installer in only 10 months. Learning ductwork early in his career benefited him as well. Rob was quickly promoted to New Construction Supervisor with the next company he worked for.

As a supervisor, he was responsible for designing duct systems and equipment installations for custom homes up to 5,000 square feet. Rob quickly began to see a future in this business and decided to open and run his own HVAC company – Robert Stuart Mechanical.

Robert Stuart Mechanical

In 2008, Rob started Robert Stuart Mechanical. In the beginning, Robert Stuart Mechanical subcontracted labor for multiple local HVAC companies.

However, he began to build a customer base and eventually had enough customers to leave subcontracting behind. Through years of providing excellent customer service and fair and honest pricing, Robert Stuart Mechanical’s customer base steadily grew.

The Launch of Galactic Air

In 2015, Robert Stuart Mechanical was incorporated and rebranded to Galactic Air Inc. Galactic Air Inc provides service to Virginia Beach, including sales, installation, and repair for air-conditioning, heating, and duct work. We are dedicated to saving you money while keeping you comfortable.
